Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary Seeks Help With Food Drive

(Gilbert, AZ) Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary has come upon challenging times providing food for their rescued cats and dogs. The registered nonprofit, volunteer-based, no-kill organization is soliciting food donations to help provide for the needs of the homeless cats, dogs, puppies and kittens that call the organization home.

Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary also seeks East Valley businesses, churches, and schools able to assist with the food drive, or that can provide a drop off location for the community to conveniently leave their food donations.

Premium foods such as Nutro, Science Diet, and Eukaneuba provide a good source of nutrition for animals recovering from lack of food during their time on the streets.

Other items on Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary’s wish list include kitty litter, puppy pens, puppy and kitten formula and cleaning supplies. An extended list of items needed can be found on their web site.

Those interested in helping should contact Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary at 480-497-8296 or visit them on-line at http://www.azfriends.org/. Their adoption center is located at 143 W. Vaughn Ave., in down town Gilbert open Tuesday and Friday 10-2, Wednesday and Thursday 3-7, and Saturday 10-5.
